Grand Lake Annual Golf Tournament July 25, 2025 - 30th Anniversary

Started by Brian Reynolds, this represents a long-standing Grand Lake tradition for old and new cottagers and their friends. Each year seems to generate new participants, as well as most of the “regulars”, and a good time is always had by all. On this 30th Anniversary Day we will play and dine at the nearby Edelweiss Golf Club, a venue that has served our needs well for many recent years. We are hoping to have at least 60 golfers, the minimum number required for a shotgun start. A shotgun start works very well, providing more social time with our fellow cottagers and guests since all golfers finish at virtually the same time. The shotgun start will be at 1:00 PM and dinner will follow at 7:00 PM. Register early to assure a spot. Invite your family and friends for a full day of friendship, fun, golf and prizes! Date: Friday July 25, 2025 – Registration starts at 11:30 am, 1 pm shot gun start Where: Edelweiss Golf Club - 465 Chemin Edelweiss, Wakefield, QC J0X 3G0 (819) 459-2331 Cost - Golf and dinner: If paid by July 6 - $110 per person (includes your wine raffle contribution bottle, shared power cart and Tee Package), $115 thereafter Dinner only: Paid by July 6 $60 (includes your wine bottle raffle contribution), $65 thereafter Format: 4 person best ball, great for beginners and experienced golfers alike Prizes: There will be door prizes and traditional trophies and gifts awarded the low scoring team, best putter, longest drive (senior men, men and women) and closest to the pin (men and women). Wine Raffle: The Committee will buy and bring for each participant (golf and dinner or dinner only) a bottle of store-bought wine of at least $15 value to contribute toward the wines for the wine raffle which raises the funds required to make the tournament function (prizes, etc.). Raffles will be held for various lots of the wine throughout the evening. Raffle tickets to win wines and other prizes are sold at the event.
