Happy Thanksgiving from the Grand Lake Association

On this Thanksgiving Sunday, we extend our warm wishes to all Grand Lake residents and cottagers. We are grateful for the many volunteers whose time and dedication help make our lake community safe and welcoming throughout the year.

Buoy Removal Completed: Boaters Please Use Caution

Temporary anchor marker buoys have been left in place at the Johnson Point and Baie de Peres shoal sites. This year's buoy removal also included the two milfoil buoys in Baie de Peres and the buoy near the Dam Lake bridge.

A special thank you to Nathan Cooper and his grandchildren and friends, Elliot, James and Dylan, for helping with this important annual task.

Fall Colours Hike Draws More Than 20 Participants

Thank you to Abby Hoffman and Sue Neill for organizing and leading this year's Grand Lake Fall Colours Hike on the trails at the north end of the lake.

More than 20 community members came out to enjoy a gorgeous sunny autumn day, take in the spectacular colours, and spend time with neighbours and friends.

We would also like to recognize the dedicated volunteers who maintain these trails throughout the year. Their work makes these outings possible and helps everyone enjoy one of Grand Lake's greatest natural assets.

For anyone wishing to explore the trails this fall, the dock at the north end of the lake is expected to remain in place until the end of October, weather permitting.

Boat Removal Reminder

October 18 is the final day that the Dam Lake Landing will be open for boat removals this season.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving weekend!
