Canada Day Flotilla Success!

Thanks to everyone who came out to participate in this year’s Canada Day flotilla — what an incredible turnout. More than 60 watercraft joined the parade, with boats carrying anywhere from two to ten people. The creativity was on full display: mini slides, inflatable animals incorporated into boat designs, and giant Canada Day flags flying proudly from tall poles.

It was a tough call for the judges, but this year’s boat winner was sporting an inflatable loon. In the human‑powered category, a special shout‑out goes to a three-person crew in their canoe, holding up a Canada flag with style and enthusiasm.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to a festive, joyful afternoon — as we navigated the summer storms. Your spirit and creativity made the flotilla a highlight of the season.
