Quebec's lakes: three commitments for 2026

FOR YOUR INFORMATION: The FQDLC is calling on political parties and candidates to make three concrete demands to better protect our lakes and rivers:

• SUPPORT — The creation of a permanent program, technical and financial, to enable lake associations to prevent, control and manage aquatic invasive alien species.

• RESTORE — Laboratory services accessible to NPOs and public agencies to monitor water quality at affordable costs.

• LAUNCH — A national public awareness and prevention campaign to counter the spread of aquatic invasive alien species.
